A Massachusetts jury is deliberating the fate of Karen Read, 44, who is charged with the murder of her boyfriend, Yarmouth police officer Christopher O'Keefe. The prosecution alleges that Read killed O'Keefe in a fit of rage after an argument, while the defense maintains that she is innocent and that she is being framed as part of a police cover-up.

The trial has heard testimony from numerous witnesses, including police officers, forensic experts, and Read herself. The prosecution has presented evidence that Read made incriminating statements to police shortly after O'Keefe's body was found, and that she had a history of domestic violence with O'Keefe.

The defense, however, has argued that Read's statements were made under duress and that the police investigation was biased against her. The defense has also presented evidence that suggests that O'Keefe's death may have been the result of an accidental shooting.
