Russian tennis star Andrey Rublev has used his platform at the Dubai Tennis Championships to speak out against the invasion of Ukraine by his country's forces.
After a win on Friday, Rublev wrote "No war please" on a television camera lens, and later said that he was "not for war" and that the conflict was "terrible".
Rublev's comments come after Wimbledon organisers announced that Russian and Belarusian players would be banned from this year's tournament due to the invasion. The decision has been met with criticism from some players, including Rublev, who said that he was "disappointed" by the ban.
