Passengers and Crew Safe

Singapore Airlines Flight SQ321, which was scheduled to fly from London Heathrow Airport to Singapore Changi Airport, was forced to make an emergency landing at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport on Tuesday evening.

The flight, which was carrying 228 passengers and 19 crew members, was cruising at 37,000 feet when a passenger fell ill. The captain made the decision to divert the flight to Bangkok so that the passenger could receive immediate medical attention.

The plane landed safely at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport at around 10:30 p.m. local time. The passenger who had fallen ill was taken to a nearby hospital, where they are currently being treated.

All other passengers and crew members on board the flight are safe and well. Singapore Airlines has sent a team to Bangkok to assist the passengers and crew members, and to investigate the cause of the incident.
