Crash Shuts Down Highway
The crash, which occurred on April 29, 2024, involved multiple vehicles and shut down a stretch of the highway in both directions between exit 406 Lake Ridge Road/County Road 23 and exit 410. Emergency services worked to clear the scene and investigate the cause.
Vehicle Fleeing from Police
Durham police have reported that the crash was allegedly caused by a vehicle fleeing from police. Further details about the pursuit and the events leading up to the collision are currently under investigation.
